A Virtual Tikkun Leil Shavuot

Thursday, May 28 from 7pm-10pm Eastern

Over the past two months, our J Stream platform has allowed our movement to come together to learn, engage with one another and take action.

There is a tradition on Shavuot to stay up all night studying in celebration of the Jewish people receiving the Torah. While we won't be staying up all night, our first-ever Tikkun Leil Shavuot will provide three hours of programming dedicated to learning and community.

After greetings, introductions and some cheese-cake recipe flexing, Rabbi Jill Jacobs will headline our first session after which you’ll have a choice of sessions based on your interests.

7:15pm Opening Session: Living Ethically in the Land of Israel, Rabbi Jill Jacobs

8pm Concurrent Sessions

  • Learning from Non-Jews: Yithro and Ruth, Sam Fleischacker
  • Revelation in the Wilderness, Rabbis Ayelet Cohen and Ephraim Pelcovits
