75 Years of Independence: Israel at a Crossroads

Join former Israeli Consul General to New England and current J Street Israel Director, Nadav Tamir, and New Israel Fund VP of Public Engagement Libby Lenkinski, to reaffirm our community’s support for Israel as a democratic homeland for the Jewish people, which is at peace with its neighbors, including Palestinians; and explore what we in the American Jewish community can do to support that vision in the face of current realities. We will hear from Israelis working to promote justice and democracy at home and American political leaders working to ensure US diplomacy supports the same goals.

Join us at 12 noon after the talks for a lunch of Middle Eastern fare, opportunities to take action with the sponsoring organizations, and small discussion groups led by Temple Israel Progressive Israel Caucus.
