Earlier this year, an outgoing president and incoming president worked together to seal a deal to stop the Gaza war and start bringing hostages home.

We are outraged by Prime Minister Netanyahu’s decision to reignite this horrific war despite the pleas of the hostage families, the devastation wrought on families in Gaza and clear warnings from Israel’s own senior security experts that this is a dangerous path forward.

As a strong majority of both Americans and Israelis believe, an immediate ceasefire and hostage deal remains the best path forward.

President Trump promised to be a dealmaker and a peacemaker president. It’s time to end this war. It’s time to reseal the deal. The US must use its full leverage on all sides to make this happen. We cannot let extremists sabotage negotiations. We cannot take “no” for an answer.

End this war. Bring every hostage home.
