We write as Jewish and pro-peace Americans who are watching a foreign policy disaster unfold in real time.

President Trump has dragged our country into a reckless war of choice with Iran – with no clear objectives, no clear plan and no support from the American public. There was no imminent threat. There were clear alternatives available.

The results speak for themselves. Thirteen American troops and hundreds of civilians have been killed across the region. Oil prices are soaring and Russia and China are the biggest winners.

Iran's nuclear program has not been destroyed – and this war may actually push Tehran’s leaders to race to a nuclear weapon. President Trump promised regime change. Instead, he's empowered an even more hardline Iranian leadership.

There is no military solution to this crisis. Only diplomacy can end Iran's nuclear program and prevent years of escalating conflict.

We urge you to use all levers of power available to you to end this war.
