Vice President Vance just said that stopping immigration is the key to fighting antisemitism.
Let’s be absolutely clear: JD Vance, you do not speak for American Jews.
Antisemitism is real and rising – this past weekend has made that painfully clear. But exploiting genuine fear to advance an authoritarian political agenda is not only wrong – it’s dangerous.
We know that antisemitism thrives on conspiracies, scapegoating and demonizing others – not on immigrants seeking safety and opportunity. We know our history – our own families sought refuge in this country to make a better life for their children. And we know that pitting communities against one another has never made Jews safer.
That’s why we’re speaking out now. Our values demand that we fight antisemitism wherever it appears — without abandoning our commitment to dignity, equality and justice for everyone.
Read, sign and share our petition saying that weaponizing antisemitism to attack immigrants is unacceptable – and that we refuse to let our community be used in this way.
Sincerely,
The undersigned
