Dear Members of Congress,
The Ceasefire Compliance Act (CCA) reflects the simple, common-sense principle that American weapons and taxpayer dollars must never be used in ways that violate our values or undermine U.S. interests.
The CCA makes clear: U.S. weapons cannot be used in Gaza or the West Bank in ways that violate the ceasefire, restrict humanitarian aid, advance annexation or enable settler violence.
These are not new or radical standards. They are rooted in existing U.S. law, longstanding bipartisan policy and commitments Israel has already made.
The moment Israel complies with the ceasefire, halts annexation, and upholds its obligations, it can continue using the U.S.-provided weapons in those areas. That is not an extreme demand, but a reasonable expectation.
As Jewish and pro-peace Americans, we believe our foreign policy must reflect both American security interests and our values. The Ceasefire Compliance Act ensures that U.S. military assistance is consistent with those principles.
We urge you to support and advance the Ceasefire Compliance Act and reaffirm that American weapons must never be used to undermine American interests.
Sincerely,
The undersigned
