Settler terrorism is roiling the West Bank. Just days ago, a gang of violent settlers attacked American journalist Heidi Levine as she covered the olive harvest in the village of Abu Falah, knocking her to the ground, kicking her repeatedly and stealing her equipment, despite gear that clearly marked her as press.

What happened to Heidi is not an isolated incident. Settler terrorists routinely commit arson, assault and even murder to drive Palestinian families from their homes and land, while the IDF and Israeli officials stand by. The perpetrators are almost never held accountable.

Leader Jeffries, thank you for committing to make the West Bank Violence Prevention Act a priority should Democrats win the House Majority in the next Congress. We urge you and all members of Congress to keep up the pressure and take urgent action to stop the violence.

As American Jews, we cannot look away from what is being done in our name.
