For displaced Palestinians in Gaza, temporary, fragile structures have become a terrifying, permanent reality. And as meteorologists warn of a severe and early winter, over 1.9 million face a catastrophic crisis.

Wear and tear have destroyed makeshift tents, leaving gaping holes where freezing air and rain seep in – posing a great danger to the health of countless people, young and old.

Meanwhile, reconstruction is stalled, and Israeli authorities are continuing to block critical shelter materials and other aid from entering. Our Jewish tradition demands that we do not stand idly by while there is suffering.

We urge you to take action to demand that Israeli authorities immediately allow in shelter materials, ensure unrestricted humanitarian access and support rebuilding civilian infrastructure.
