As pro-peace Americans, we believe the United States can stand firmly with Israel's security while refusing to tolerate settlers who terrorize Palestinian communities with impunity.

Across the West Bank, masked settlers are attacking Palestinian villages – beating residents, torching property, destroying olive trees and cutting water lines – while Israeli authorities look the other way. Emboldened by extremist ministers who have declared a "revolution" in settlement expansion, this violence is designed to force Palestinians from their homes.

We cannot stay silent while violent extremists are left unchecked. That's why we support the West Bank Violence Prevention Act, which would impose sanctions on those responsible for violent attacks against Palestinians – and their backers.

We urge you to co-sponsor this legislation and unite around a simple principle: America can support Israel's security without tolerating settler violence.
