Nearly seven months after a ceasefire was signed in Gaza, civilians continue to endure catastrophic humanitarian conditions. Pregnant women are giving birth in tent camps without reliable access to medical care, electricity or clean water.

Hospitals and clinics face severe shortages of basic equipment and medicine, while humanitarian organizations continue to report restrictions on the aid they’re able to bring into Gaza.

That’s why I urge you to co-sponsor the Ceasefire Compliance Act, which would prohibit US weapons from being used in Gaza if the Netanyahu government continues to restrict lifesaving aid.

This legislation would ensure that US-provided weapons are not used in violation of American law or to obstruct the delivery of humanitarian aid in Gaza. It would establish meaningful oversight and accountability while continuing to support Israel’s legitimate security needs.
