To be pro-Israel in 2023 means standing with the thousands of Israelis taking to the streets to defend democracy. It means fighting to uphold the values of justice, peace and equality enshrined in Israel's Declaration of Independence. It means standing up against the nightmare of restrictions on religious pluralism, anti-democratic judicial "reforms" and permanent, undemocratic occupation.
