Robert Wexler and Dr. Larry Lowenthal, former Boston-area executive director of the American Jewish Committee, focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process in the midst of unfolding events and the critical role of the United States in the Middle East.

Robert Wexler represented Florida's 19th district for seven terms as a Democrat in the House of Representatives before leaving Congress in 2010 to head the S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace. Mr. Wexler served as chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Europe and was also a member of its Middle East Subcommittee. 

Representative Wexler’s expertise led him to be named to the Congressional Quarterly’s list of the “50 Most Effective Legislators in Congress” as well as the “Forward 50” list of the most influential leaders in the American Jewish community. He advised Barack Obama on issues related to Israel and the Middle East in both the 2008 and 2012 election campaigns.
