Don't Slam the Door on Syrian Refugees
Jews cannot stay silent. Americans cannot stay silent. It's not who we are.

In the coming days the Senate may vote on whether to block or delay the admission of Syrian refugees.

As Jews, this vote recalls a time when our people were turned away from this country as they fled the horrors of fascism and genocide.

Like then, much of the rhetoric around this refugee question is being driven by fear and bigotry.

Please speak up.

Please make the right choice and oppose any effort to block or delay the admission of refugees in need.
