J Street Community Seder

WHEN: Sunday, April 12 | 4-6pm ET

Zoom information provided upon RSVP.

WHAT: Using J Street's very own haggadah, we will apply the themes and lessons of the Passover seder to what it means, in 2020, to be pro-Israel, pro-peace and opposed to the occupation. What questions do we need to ask today? What role must we play during these difficult times? How can we uplift and champion those among us who are less fortunate, as we celebrate our own liberation?

WHERE: At J Street, due to COVID-19, we are finding new ways to bring our community together during this pandemic, to reinforce one of the main lessons of Passover: the importance of sticking together as a people during times of crisis and uncertainty. This is why we will be hosting a online, community-wide seder. We will provide the haggadah, but you will need to provide the l’chaim!

While we will hold this seder individually, in the safety of our homes, collectively we will retell the story of Passover, when our ancestors stayed in the safety of their homes as well. But, unlike them, we will do our best to have ample wine and parcels of parsley!
