President Biden’s diplomatic breakthrough would restore and strengthen President Obama’s Iran deal, blocking Iran’s path to a nuclear weapon and preventing a potentially catastrophic new war in the Middle East.

President Trump’s unilateral withdrawal from the agreement has been a disaster. Iran has more enriched uranium and fewer restrictions than before. Ratcheting escalations have put the US and Iran on a collision course toward conflict.

Returning to the deal and cutting off Iran’s path to a bomb is an urgent priority for America and our allies. We call on Congress to strongly support an immediate return to the deal.
