Israeli authorities have issued demolition orders for 13 buildings in the Palestinian village of Umm al-Khair – including family homes and the community center. Many of the village’s 300 residents, including children, could be displaced.

The families of Umm al-Khair have already endured years of demolitions, settler attacks and land theft, all with the tacit backing of the Israeli government. And just months ago, beloved community leader and nonviolent activist Awdah Hathaleen was shot and killed by a settler terrorist.

Our movement has longstanding ties to Umm al-Khair, where we have brought community and political leaders to witness the brutal reality of occupation, and we will continue doing so.

We urge you: Demand an immediate halt to the demolitions and push the Trump Administration to pressure the Netanyahu government to ensure that the people of Umm al-Khair can live with safety and dignity.
