Hon. William A. Norris was a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit for 17 years. On the bench, Judge Norris wrote landmark opinions in securities, tax, antitrust, class action litigation, election law, the First Amendment, and ERISA. He is currently a senior counsel at Akin Gump, focusing on appellate litigation. Judge Norris is the founding president of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. He was appointed by Mayor Tom Bradley as president of the Los Angeles Police Commission, and by Governor Edmund G. "Pat" Brown as a member of the California State Board of Education and the Board of Trustees of California State University. Judge Norris received his B.A. from Princeton University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was a member of Order of the Coif and executive editor of the Stanford Law Review. He clerked for Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas.

Jane Jelenko was the first woman partner in the consulting arm of KPMG, the international professional services firm. After retiring in 2003, she wrote Portraits in Black and White: Holocaust Survivors of Café Europa along with photographer Barbara Mack, documenting the lives of 43 survivors published by the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust. She serves on the boards of SunAmerica Funds, Cathay Bank, Body Traffic, The Dizzy Feet Foundation, and the Gabriella Education Foundation. She is a past board member of SHARE, The Music Center, and the American Technion Society Western Region. She is the founding president and a board member of Center Dance Arts, the founding support organization for Dance at the Music Center. She graduated cum laude in Mathematics from Barnard College and earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Southern California. In 2014, President Obama appointed her to the Board of Trustees of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.

Peter Beinart is Associate Professor of Journalism and Political Science at the City University of New York. He is also a contributor to The Atlantic and National Journal, a Senior Columnist at Haaretz, a CNN Political Commentator, and a Senior Fellow at The New America Foundation. After graduating from University College, Oxford with a Rhodes Scholarship, Beinart became The New Republic’s managing editor in 1995, and served as the magazine's editor from 1999 to 2006. Beinart has written for many leading publications such as the NYT, the WSJ, the Financial Times, the Boston Globe and others. His book The Crisis of Zionism was published by Times Books in 2012.

Jeremy Ben-Ami is the founder and President of J Street, bringing to the role both deep experience in American politics and government and a passionate commitment to the state of Israel. His political resume includes serving in the mid-1990s as the Deputy Domestic Policy Advisor in the White House to President Bill Clinton and working on seven Presidential and numerous state and local campaigns. Ben-Ami’s family connection to Israel goes back 130 years to the first aliyah when his great-grandparents were among the first settlers in Petah Tikva while his grandparents were one of the founding families of Tel Aviv.
