This year we'll be honoring Susan Manilow
with special guest speaker Carmi Gillon.

Susan Manilow is a pioneering supporter of J Street and civic leader. Susan currently serves as the Finance Chair for Senator Dick Durbin’s campaign. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Human Rights Watch and was the first woman to chair the Board of Trustees of Mt. Sinai Hospital. Susan has also served in leadership roles with the Chicago Board of Health Commission and the Environmental Defense Fund.

Carmi Gillon is a prominent figure in Israeli security, diplomacy and business, and headed the Shin Bet (Israeli Security Service) during the heart of the Oslo peace process. He was recently featured in The Gatekeepers, an Oscar-nominated documentary film featuring six former heads of the Shin Bet highlighting the need for a two-state solution. A graduate of Harvard Business School, Gillon has served in such varied leadership posts as mayor of the city Mevasseret Zion near Jerusalem, Ambassador of Israel to Denmark and CEO of the Peres Center for Peace.
