J Street Chicago Town Hall - Dr. Yossi BeilinWHEN: Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at 7:30PM J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami will be joined by Dr. Yossi Beilin to discuss why peace is possible, just and necessary, and what pro-Israel Americans can do to make it a reality. Dr. Beilin is a former Member of Knesset, Minister of Justice and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. He is a key architect of the Oslo Accords and the Geneva Initiative. Dr. Beilin is also known for initiating the launch of the Birthright program. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Tel Aviv and is the author of numerous books on the peace process and Israeli politics. He is currently the president of Beilink, a business consulting firm that he founded in 2008. |
