An Evening with MK Adi Koll

Join us for a conversation with Yesh Atid MK Adi Koll as she talks about the new Knesset and the importance of Israeli and US support for a two state solution.

Tifereth Israel also welcomes you to a pre-event Shabbat Dinner at 7:30PM. We'll provide more information once you RSVP to the discussion.

Where: Tifereth Israel, 7701 16th St NW
When: Friday June 28, 8:30PM

With a new political party, Yesh Atid, in the Knesset and a refocus on peace negotiations, the political landscape in Israel is changing and it is more important than ever to understand what these changes mean for Israel, the US, and the peace process.

MK Koll is a strong supporter of the two-state solution and has received Israeli media attention for her writing on the issue. In a recent blog post describing her visit to a Palestinian friend, she argued, "There is nothing normal about life in Ramallah, and there is nothing normal about us letting this happen." Although she and her party are new to the Knesset, Yesh Atid's strength and Koll's increasing visibility position her to become influential in the Israeli political conversation around the peace process.

MK Koll is the chair of the Knesset Public Petitions Committee. Prior to her service in the Knesset, she lectured for several years at Tel Aviv University and Ben-Gurion University. She holds an LLM and JSD from Columbia University's School of Law as well as an LLB from Hebrew University; as a founder of multiple nongovernmental organizations for social justice in Israel, she has also received the Knesset Speaker Prize for the Reduction of Social Inequality.
